A well-organized distillation of archival footage, newly declassified documents, and audio interviews explores the American intelligence organization’s efforts to discredit and destroy the great civil rights leader. Unfortunately not as in-depth or compelling as the many books and podcasts about this subject, and Pollard’s choice to keep his talking heads mostly offscreen renders the film somewhat cold and academic.
