Story of a young warrior princess on a quest to return peace and prosperity to her land is easily the best of the many sub-par Disney animated releases of the past 2 1/2 years. Refreshing mythology, breathtaking animation, and pace that lets us actually appreciate both while providing legit stakes and earned emotions. There's also a welcome darkness to the piece despite all the wisecracking. Message a bit heavy-handed but perfectly fine for a kid's movie.
