Benedetta Porcaroli gives a star-making turn as an isolated Italian rich girl who never learned to make friends in Carolina Cavalli’s deadpan coming-of-age comedy that’s part Wes Anderson, part Lena Dunham, and part Sofia Coppola but doesn't rise above those comparisons with a distinctive enough voice of its own. You can't convince me that this film wouldn't have been a full 50 percent better if Cavalli had forced herself to come up with an actual title.
