Inept docudrama about FBI surveillance of Jean Seberg when the '60s icon became involved with the Black Panther Party. In the grand biopic tradition, Stewart does her level best to find the inner life of a historical character, but this surfaces-obsessed picture couldn't care less about any of the issues or themes it pretends to explore and does a disservice to everyone involved and everyone depicted.
