Bad Teacher is an unfunny comedy that plays like an experiment by its creators to see how intentionally unlikable a main character in a movie can be without losing the audience.  Unfortunately the answer won’t be found in this film as Cameron Diaz’s junior-high-school-teacher-who-just-doesn’t-give-a-fuck wears out her welcome within the first ten minutes.  Hopefully the makers of Hollywood comedies will soon exhaust their need to make films like this, which seem to serve no purpose other than to provide enough “shock and ha” to be cut up into two and half minute trailers that make people want to buy tickets -- and then regret that they did.
